Wait till you pick the swingarm up, how light ??
If it's running a tuned, big cc engine, I would look at your fuel flow rate from the tap. My HB, fitted with an RSC996 engine and 33mm smoothbores, would need fuel faster than the tap could supply.

cheers bluedog for the fuel tip, will bear that in mind. Yup the swingarm is impressively light, the main frame is not too bad either.

thanks for the link, have seen them before, but am thinking of painting them on and not using transfers. At the moment still waiting for frame, wheels etc to be blasted and painted. Have just recieved all new bearings for the bike, awaiting new disks and still a mountain of other things to do yet.

New discs Waggy? Old ones looked like new ones ? I did find a couple of manufacturers of repro discs same as those, as they look the same as on Db1's, Brembo full floaters with 2 more bobbins than norm, the company also did DB2 replica discs, with similar large offset...would be interested to know who you are using to supply discs...can pass info on if you have a problem...they had a stand at Spa Francochamps a few weeks ago, with the discs on the stand...looked impressive...based in Italy but there was also a UK company there that use the same discs..

Hi 2bims, the old discs were ebc items with 26mm offset, one disc was badly scored the other fine, the offset was not quite enough. I am modernising the front brakes, have a set of goldline brembos and billet adaptors for the forks. I got Glyn Robinson to make me up a set of cast iron floaters with 27mm offset. http://www.sportsmotorcyclesducati.com/ I am very happy with their quality, reckon he could provide discs for a lot of the old bimotas.

They look well nice and exact copies of Db1 discs with the 12 No. bobbins and not 10...I presume he made the rotors also or did you strip and reuse the originals? And finally ....How much? (Pm or otherwise...)

Hi still have the hb2. the disks you are fitting look very similar to the disks fitted to later 80's bimotas.
