Have to say its been a long time since I've worked on a bike that's so easy to strip and have access to, and my sunglasses are just about saving my eyesight the scary thing is, the more I look at it the more the yellow grows on me The wiring is a mess, far too much surplus wiring about and being 30 year old, I shall attempt to make a bespoke new loom. Brakes could also do with uprating, and have a few options to look into.

apart from the engine, I like the yellowness of it. Would sit comfortably next to my purple & yellow Tesi!
now crack on and get it sorted _________________ Bimota SB6 and Benelli TNT 899S road bikes.

well still cracking on, all yellow covers off, so safe to take sunglasses off. Its always a worry about big bore engines, V5 says this is out to 1453cc, but engine purrs and nothing frightening was found in sump pan and everything else looking grand engine wise.

Looks clean as ... is it an effect of the camera or is the blue frame marbled 2 tone? _________________ Pomps

It looks in good nick. You think you might keep the blue and just change the yellow? _________________ Pomps

nah, am not too keen on that blue; have to strip every thing down as even the engine support plates have been done yellow! so might as well get everything done in the same colour, lovely red |

well have got to the stage to split the frame and drop the engine. the only thing of note is that a few of the suspension tie rod bolts were bent, which Nigel also had on his SB4 write up in PS.

definitely agree there, the welding is sublime. Have now split the frame and engine is out, so not be long till it all goes to the painters. |
