Track night looming, engine back together again and it starts and runs, was starting to get withdrawal symptoms.
Something not quite right, exhaust servo not lifting, in fact totally seized, anyone know where we might pick up a Yamaha exhaust servo?

Did not realise, this is the same servo motor used for muffling the four stroke exhausts, just have to find out which one, any ideas appreciated to save time, why Yamaha? why not Aprilia or Ducati or do they use the Yamaha manufacture?

Hi Jim
The exhaust servo on my due is branded Yamaha. My punt would be one of their 250/350 Tz/lc etc as donor part. Ill see if it has a part number today

Well that's it, new idle gear installed, stripped down the exhaust servo, unseized the motor, resolved what I think was an air lock in the cooling (got very hot and header tank steaming) ready to rock n roll for track night tomorrow, will post pics if successful.

Disaster, torrential rain, ran the 916 with wets. Had a bundle of fun in the wet with Ducati torque.
