mate
after many years of wonderment (and abusive emails to bimota)
i've discovered that center to center the holes are the same as a 916 a 998 and er somthin else...63mm from memory-i'll check tomorrow. i was in my local ducati shop this arvo and there were some nice ones on a 1098-rong holes tho?
so check that out and let me know how you go.

You can still order the original rear sets from Bimota for both the 'R' & 'RS' models. I've just had delivered from Rimini the 'RS' gold footrests since the anodising on my current ones had worn off. They look much better (IMO) than the standard, boring silver ones.
The best bit was the price...only £53 per side (just for the footrest, not the whole rearset).
I've found the best way to communicate with the factory is in Italian, usually you get a response the same day! The parts guy is called Alessandro Mazzacano, although he doesn't appear to work too hard. He gave me the access codes to the Bimota mainframe and asked me to download the parts manual and let him know what I wanted Can't see any of the Big Four doing the same....... _________________ Seven |
