This is a copy of an article I wrote for the BMW Car Club owners magazine “Straight Six” some time ago (although not the strap line) and which has just been published in their July 2013 edition, for anyone who is interested.

Good spot, yes it was my B10 V8 4.6 litre, No 842, which has sadly gone and I still sorely miss the sound of that V8. _________________ YB4, Z1000 |

You must miss the V8. I'm on my second D3 Touring. Current car is a Crimson Red 61 reg touring- only 2 in the UK according to Sytner's.
Love the Alpina brand- reminds a lot like Bimota. Owned by enthusiasts who appreciate something a little unique!!! _________________ Dreaming of a Tesi in the garage. |

Totally agree I love the Alpina brand, it’s the exclusivity and bespoke nature which gives it such a similar feel to Bimota. Nothing beats the question of what is it?
Funnily enough I am on my second B3 Biturbo and the current one is a Touring of which only two were sold in the UK. _________________ YB4, Z1000 |

Ah yes. Yours is the space grey one. Very very nice. Discussed recently on the alpina register. _________________ Dreaming of a Tesi in the garage. |
