Hi, New to Bimota's.
Just picked up a YB7, however missing bodywork.
Does anyone know of any aftermarket bodywork being made.
Or... Able to let me make a mold/copy of some.
I am in Sydney Australia.
Thanks,

Welcome to the forum.
I own a YB7 myself but have not seen any bodywork for sale, in fact you don't see many parts for them full stop.
Your a bit far away from me for moulds/etc although there is at least one member on here that owns a YB7 in Australia. Hopefully someone else will be along with more info.
Have you had chance to ride it yet, even without the fairings? They are a joy to rev and throw about on twisty roads.

Thanks Laminator,
There is one other in Sydney I have seen on the forum & a guy in Brisbane with 3.
I have been racing 400cc kawasaki's for a while now with some success & thought the little bim would be a fun project.
I have the tank & tail just need the front fairing mainly. How physically different are that to the YB4/YB6

There is quite a difference between the YB6/YB4 and the YB7. The YB7 is a smaller bike, I can measure a few key areas to see if they are anywhere near the same size.
There is a thread with a few images and comparisons - http://www.bimotaforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=3246 _________________ Bimotas, Yamaha FZR 2TK, Honda NC30, MV Agusta F3 800, Aprilia RS250 |

Please if you can come up with some basic measurements.
Possibly modify a yb8 race fairing to fit.
