I'm now in the planning stage of turning my spare front fairing into a 3 piece fairing. I've heard about this being done loads of times but only ever seen one (not very good) photo of it.
Does any one have any pictures or links to this before I start the butchering.
My spare fairing needs some work/paint anyway so I thought I'd start with that one incase It get's mullerd.
Any and all help will be rewarded with my eternal gratitude Laughing

I can borrow a chain saw! If I'm the butcher then you must be the ripper! Although would be useful at times...

It's hard to tell from the pic's, is that filler or has it melted?
I was managing better repairs than that when I was 12 Wink

Anyway, I've got the use of Pomey's chainsaw so it should work out fine

that was a very expensive repair / repaint that has just cleared the courts in favour of the bike owner.
he first noticed it when he tried to remove the fairing - makes you wonder how they got the fairing back on the bike?

They must have put the faring back on the bike pushed the broken sides together and then forced the filler in by hand... hoping to never service or remove the fairing again. Is it your bike now? I managed to find a usa company who had a supply of after market race fairings for the sb6. great, apart from the price which was 2000 GB pounds plus postage. mmmmm, no thanks, I'd have to crash through a mincing machine to need that amount to repair the original... assuming I crash in the first place!
