I need a left side stock mirror for my DB5R as I managed to break the glass on mine. I may try cutting a piece of mirror to fit, but I am not really confident in the likelihood of success!

I have an old Jag and the rear view mirror glass had gone smokey. A replacement mirror head was going to cost big $$$ so I took it to a windscreen repair place that also replaced mirror glass. $30 later I had an as new mirror. Very Happy

I am going to try cutting a piece of mirrored acrylic to fit the pod. Details at 11!

You can find the mirrors on Ebay.it or ebay.de...they are manufactured by "far"...although just search Bimota DB5 dont write "mirror" as it wont translate..like most things though, it will come as a full unit, and not just the glass...thus reckon your cheapest option as as already said...go to a glass company that would cut one to size and shape

OK, I got a quote from a local shop for $25, and before I went to them I picked up a piece of mirrored acrylic for a buck. It cut relatively easily and I now have a mirror that works. I made a wedge out of teak wood that tilts the mirror up so that I can actually see what is behind me, for whatever that is worth!

Like Steve said, mirrors are made by company Far (codes 5357/5356):

http://www.far.it

I bought spare ones directly from company and they are around 75 EUR (for both). I hope they ship to US.

Thank you for the direction! It is much appreciated. I am closing in on a method of making the stock mirrors quite functional without too much modification. Once I get everything worked out having a fresh set to work with will be nice.
