Here you are Brian...found some Naked Vdue piccies from when mine was being prepped before being sent to me......
Big black long things are the carbon fibre intakes and air boxes for the Dellorto carbs.....monstrous large sculpted things.....
at least a carbon belly pan so no cracking to worry about...and one piece also
Did have to drill a drain hole at the front though...could get a couple of gallons of soapy water in there otherwise.........

Hit a bit of a snag on the weekend mate. Trying to get the bottom end cleaned up but it is a bit of a hassle at the moment. I got the sulks with it for a day or so, so will be back into it later this week or on the weekend. Just had to walk away from her for a day or so. There are so many tuning variables we got a bit lost so we will go back to the base point & move ahead again. looks like it will still be a month or so until I get it registered. Contrary to all that dome & gloom though, she is a weapon when you get it over 5500 revs and handles beautifully. |

It is a shame that they don't make those lovely cf airbox & snorkles for the injected model

Slippery slope Brian you are in trouble !! As a write up in Performance Bikes recently stated, de-cloaking a vdue is like undressing a supermodel !!!
And here's a few more late night viewings for you
And just a quick peek under the rear !!
Enjoy. |

If you think those pipes are tight you should see the route the normal pipes take !!!!!
But Jolly Moto's RULE

I somehow missed your post last time i was on here Steve! Thanks for the pics, they're sweet. The one piece carbon bellypan should be very strong. Good to see you've been able to improve on the bimota design, drilling the drain hole
They realy do ooze beauty don't they. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |
