Just been down to the post office to pick up a parcel that they tried to deliver a week ago but I was away
It slipped by customs without them noticing, Result
Well packed and no nasty spiders or snakes to be seen
Quality is very good, you would think they were made in a proper country
All i need to do now is make sure they fit the bike, which I'm sure they will.
Sorry for the crap photo's, these night shifts are a killer.
Steve, thanks a lot for your help on this
Duncan, Your screen is here, Let me know what you want to do about it.(collection or post) |

Oily,
A long shot maybe, but do you have any double bubble screens left that you'd be willing to part with |

I knew I should have ordered more
I have one left which I am keeping for the refit of my second SB6, sorry.
You could always have a batch made
I probably still have all the details and he was a good guy to deal with |

Did you ask Skidmarx if they'd do a short run ??? They're usually quite helpful. _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

Oily,
Not to worry. However many you had made it would have been either too many or not enough.
You're right, I could always get a batch made & I'm v happy to look into it.
If you are able to find the details (dimensions, materials, tint etc) I'll try, as Evilchick suggests, SkidMarx as well as the Aussie to get an idea of price against run number. I'll then see who else on the Forum is interested & take it from there.
How would you prefer to send the details if you can find them - PM? |

I spoke to Skidmarx about making some screens for my DB4. They were quite happy to take a mould off my existing screen and make me a new one. And for this they told me they would charge £50.
Yep, no tool cost, no min numbers , just the price of me sending the screen to them and the cost of a normal Bimota screen. They pride themselves on having moulds for nearly every bike, and so were happy to absorb the cost of the tool, just so they could have it in there stock.
All I need to do now is send them my screen, maybe this winter !! |

They do , but its only a standard screen. Problem is they would need a double bubble to copy !
I wonder if anyone on here has a spare ? |

When I ordered a SB6 screen at the bike show, I asked about a double bubble and they said they could'nt do it as they only had a standard mould tool. I then asked about the DB4 and they said if I sent them the original they would copy it for the same price as any other Bimota one. Can only say what they told me . |
