What is the current market values for the Supermono? I'm looking at a low mileage unit on eBay and would appreciate a reference point on pricing

I guess they're worth what ever someone is willing to pay. Rarely see one up for sale really. That one on ebay does look in very good nick and low milage on the clock. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

Yikes.........that one in the US went for $8500..........heady price for the unloved BB1.....could be a business exporting the cheap ones from Europe...as 3-4K GBP is the norm price for these......
YB11 Silver Blue?? Tis nice..and a nice price...they have a tendency to fall over on left hand bends though Crankie And you'd end up using spare levers and pegs to fix all the time........ |

Must have been the combination of the low miles, seller's trustworthiness and the relatively weak USD. The color probably helped the sale as well
Much appreciated! |

Not a weak dollar...more of a strong pound
I think they are all low miles if youd ridden one you'd know why...cost you more replacing fillings loosened than fuel... |

I read a review on the bb1 from quite a few years ago and it was fairly scathing. The test riders were far from impressed with anything about the bike. So, how bad are they?? I considdered (briefly) enquiring about the track bike that i linked above, but decided i have enough trouble now. The price put me off too. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

Like yourself Brian...its all what I've heard or read...although BimotaNige does have one....Lovely things to look at...but Bimota decided to take out frame damping from engine to frame fix...so all vibes come through the pegs and bars...the clip ons are designed to have rubber pads around the forks so when you grab them you can feel them flex with the rubber pads...the footpegs also have double height rubbers in them to again try and sort the vibes out.........And then theres the petrol tank under the engine...keeps weight down low...but hardly the best place for feeding to the carbs
As i say..lovely to look at but fatally flawed...hence why they are always usually cheap......... |

mmm, a yb9 or similar would no doubt make a much better track bike. Although, the sb6 was a delight on the track i must say. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

Seeing as YB9's often fetch less Money that a BB1...I'd tend to agree also...if you can put up with the sheep dip yellow or red paint scheme....and even there'd be change over for a tastier respray...... |
