One little detail that I found out... First series of DB5 didn't have lower chain guard on swing arm. Chain hop up an down and starts to chip away the paint on trellis. Cheap original fix is part from later model or DB5R... (about 10EUR)

I gather that you didnt have one of these on your Mille then Jure???????? Its the same with the Db6 also...unfotunately the plastic piece they've made is made from old black bin bags I think as its really soft and weak and wears away quickly......my usual Bimota dealer in Germany charges over 25 euros for these though.....and then postage from Italy to Germany..and then Germany to UK....I re-epoxy mine each time it wears down to the swinging arm tube...keep an eye on it.....next time I'll probably just wrap rubber sheath and tie wrap it...... |
