When adjusting the oil pump, do you only adjust it to full trottle?
where is the full trottle mark?
the round hole looks like the idle mark, it lines up now when I'am not twistimg the trottle. ( same markings on my RS250)

It certainly isnt the "clearest" instructions on page 64/3 of the manual.......but basically the Diag 72/3 that you show is supposed to be what you see when the throttle is fully opened up////and the line that you see (far right next to the cut out) is what is supposed to line up with the round part with the vertical slack in...normally this means screwing in the knurled adjuster all the way...and slackening off the locknut...but then you'll find that the threaded rod with the cable in fouls the turning of the control pulley......As you cant get the ferrule off the cable...as its pinched closed...I adjusted all the way out and pulled out the threaded rod...and put both nuts on the right side so I could have it adjusted as close as possible.....to be able to get it spot on some people trim/cut the threaded part...so it doesnt foul the pulley.........Hope this helps.....you can only see the circular part with the vertical mark once you twist the thottle open as its behind the pulley

Ducati clutch tool fits and frame makes a good 3rd hand to hold it as you swing on the ratchet to undo the nut. You will need to drain the water and remove that water house at the back/across the top of the clutch .
You will need heat on the next round nut to break the threadlock.

2bims and vort, thanks for the tip.
the clutch tool arrived today, will do the bolts when I got time this summer... Smile
I got water in my speedo yesterday after washing and polishing.
I should have learned from my other italien bikes that they are not waterproof.

Had to use a heat gun to remove the water that was trapped between the 2 outer layers.

MM, I like the 'Remove before flight' tag , very apt. Looking good, when do you have clearance for take off, how is the weather over there ?

How are your clocks after the water ? all OK ? , don't want to break those they are not cheap to replace, and the bike will not run without them.

I like the black and white chequer plate flooring...is it metal or a linoleum/tile?

Also note you have the Trofeo cup all white number board front end....with the three holes for the headlight blanking plate...Did you get the blanking plate with the bike? Its a cool look for daytime riding....

Not cleared for take off, weather is to cold ( + 4 C) Wink
the bike starts and all the lights works...

the floor tiles are plastic ( http://www.kiwitile.com)
they can handle fuel, oil etc, just vipe them off and they are as good as new!

I bought the "racing front" with the blanking plate as a spear from Piero.
I like the look of the white front.
I have the original stored for later Very Happy

4 degrees? Thats one degree above warning for black ice...go on ...you know you want to.........Do like that white front end...and even better with the blanking plate...so the spares mountain grows eh? Addiction before you've even ridden it? did you sort out the lines for the correct fuel pump adjustment then? Or are you leaving it rich for its running in period.........?

Well at least that shows an intention of riding.......which is the real fun of these bikes....even if just for
special occassions...seen too many that are bought and simply decomissioned and parked up..........you only live once.....and to ride a Vdue should be contained within everyones life at least once..........

I Do like those Kiwi Tiles...and they have their own "design a pattern" service on line...and many colours to choose from.........I dont know where the idea came from but I arrived at this design......... Laughing

So...had the area worked out and price.....in dollars........looked for dealer locations.....and ........hhgghhhh...Only in USA and Norway.......which means pricey shipping and import duty and TAX....suppose I'll have to stick my original plan of 3 tins of paint........ Crying or Very sad
