Where did you get the plastic hex key for the 2T tank?

They've been around for a while....you get them with Db1's also to remove the rear seat hump allen keys to get to the tool Kit...they actually have "Bimota" written on them........Armin of DRT Schneider still sells them as spares, Bimota-teille.de......but they are around 8 euros a piece...so pricey for an allen Key.......they normally come with Vdues also for the Oil cap |

Had to alter the tool I bought to fit the nut.
( drill out 22 mm in the center and weld a socket to it)

Hi everyone. Been reading this thread a love it, it's a great bike an you boys know your stuff. I've been in the market for a new EF but there is so little about ( obviously, ha. ) anyhow, how easy is it to get ahold of Piero to import one or does anyone know where there is a new EF out there for sale? _________________ 2SMOKE |

There's a new one on eBay now...
Piero has no FE's left, so it could be the last one. |

Oh yes, lots of heat, but then to much and you can damage the sealed bearing. Took me ages to get that nut off.
All part of the bonding process. . |

Hi Mattey and welcome to the Forum.........that ones been on ebay before and got bids up to 14,600 without reserve being reached when the auction ended.........Originally the first advert said "Jolly moto pipes fitted not included with the bike" so standard cans were to be fitted.....which was odd as you need to reprogramme the ECU in the clocks..and only Piero can do this.......Also seller hasnt registered the bike yet either....so no plates, MOT or Road tax....or guarantee that it would go on an age related plate without conformity certificate/date of manufacture.........Advert has now changed words so whether the Jolly moto pipes are included or not know...Only a question to the seller can confirm this.........
As JRH says though....aint no more Vdues left in ITaly from Piero that can be used on the road.....he's simply "ran out" of sufficient parts to put a full bike together...after knocking out over 300 in the last 14 years....... |

Hi 2bims, thanks I'm liking this site, loads of info. Yep that right, those jolly Moto exhausts are worth a bit but I'm unsure that those alone will take the power to the stated 135 of the EF. You boys in the know might be able to tell me if you could make that E to the spec of an EF or is it just too much time an money an I'm better waiting to find one. Would like a new or v. Low hours if possible . _________________ 2SMOKE |
