|
|
Hello all........Good old Armin Schneider of DRT Schneider/bimota-teille.de........appears to have had Open Carbon Fibre Clutch covers made up that fit the Bimota Vdue.........
As per picture
He has come back to me with a price for it.....and so I thought I'd see if anyone else is interested in one...and maybe we can bring the price down a bit if theres several parties interested....
Now it looks like he has a anodised pressure plate...but no...he simply painted the original and fitted standard size anodised Ducati cups/springs...so heads up for anyone interested? |

Do they have a closed CF clutch cover?
I don't like the rattling sound of a open clutch |

Dont worry about the sound of the clutch.......you will not hear it over the sound of the pipes....... reason for vented is........after only 900 miles I've had to strip mine down as it clogged black with clutch lining and was jerkier that 100 bags of jerk beef........so want to vent it.......and get that muck out |

If you guys wouldn't use the clutch so much you wouldn't have these troubles! _________________ Spike C.

Hi Jim...and Spike..Clutches arent really needed much on the Vdues...changes are so quick...But pulling away in forst gear probably amounts to about 99% of the clutch use and dust off the plates........
I will be getting a vented clutch cover....hence the post....Vort was up for one also...I was hoping for a group buy to see if Armin would lower the price...evidently save on post also as they come from Germany...Think theres 4 of us interested in......
BimotaNige simply runs his without the closed cover on...but thats a BIT too open for my liking...and as you may gather...the bolt pattern is WAY off Standard Ducati...hence going the Armin German route....Would you be up for one then?...Same stlye as Ducatio ones...only in Carbon fibre and slotted star shape or somesuch |

I put my hand up for 1 on the other message where the cover was mentioned but I thought I had better ask for 1 on the official thread as well |
