Looks nice. Were you able to use the original cables or did you have to change them? _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

Where are you on jets and needles? Any compromises on rideability? Did you leave the motor in the frame when you notched the bracing spar? I guess there's enough material left there for it not to have materially compromised the spar's strength. We're looking forward to the results of the dyno run _________________ What, Jonny's gone! |

I had to change them, just ordered a kit from Venhill cut them to length and soldered the ends on. |

At the minute i have no idea what the jets are set at, it is running rich but even like that its mental to ride. A dyno run won't be gettin done till later in the year after I've had some fun while the sun still shines. I notched the frame with the engine in and removed to smallest amount i could to keep the frames strength, also had to remove some material from the shock mount. |

I was talking to a bloke who ran a dyno shop and built drag bikes a few years back and he said that he'd just dialled in a set of flatslides for a customer (can't remember what bike) and the bloke said it felt as if the thing had been turboed - so "a mental ride" sounds about right _________________ What, Jonny's gone! |

Nice job. That's a good idea to seal welding the holes.
Now I'm curious about the Dyno run. _________________ vince

Will have to make a seat type thing up for the dyno run so they have some where to sit and also somewhere to strap it down to, as last time they managed to rub off some of the frames anodising!
Thought i'd mention that i fitted a GSXR600 SRAD fuel cock and it manages just fine with no fuel starvation problems at all. |

Is the fuel cock a straight swap and do you have pictures of that _________________ vince

Very Nice job mate! I'll bet you can sell these tank brackets here
I'm also trying to get my SB6 running right but ditching the airbox looks just the way to go at this moment. |

The fuel cock is a almost a straight swop, had to file flat the bottom of the tank flat so the suzuki tap would seal correctly and its only a single outlet so got a t piece connector. |
