actually, just curious to see what it looks like.
mine has more than enough "bling" already as it has the silly perspex and alloy clutch cover fitted.
fitting some replacement footrest brackets though, once they have been to the anodisers. Smile

I'll take a photo tomorrow and post it up.

In the meantime, here is a picture of my 'silly perspex and alloy clutch cover' Wink

ah ha!
the full monty - mine hasn't got the coloured clutch plate and spring towers, just an alloy cover with gold "window" plate. And a very small oil- filling orifice Shocked

Although the cover does look better anodised black, like yours.
If I can be arsed, I'll fit the original Suzuki one back on before summer.

I once fancied a windowed clutch cover on a GSXR I owned, but went off the idea as I new what the clutch looked like already Laughing

aftermarket - made buy a guy in the USofA on the TL1000 forum.(forum name Vandriver, from memory)
they are to replace the OE black plastic cover that has been known to warp and therefore leak oil. Shocked
Never happened to my TL1000S, and that covered 28000 miles in my care.

Ah-Ha! You know the infamous VanDriver aka Jim Houlihan (rightseat@hotmail.com) as well I see!

I tried to buy a clutch cover in the UK from PsycleWorx in Peterborough...avoid at all costs. Took my money (£200 in advance) and no sign of any product after 3 months of waiting. In the end I had to drive to their unit to get my money refunded. In contrast, I had a better quality product, priced at £150, delivered from the USA in 2 weeks! And we wonder why British industry is going down the pan.....

Pics of sprocket cover below, another VanDriver creation....

Hi Seven
thanks for the pic - was curious as to what it looked like - now I know!
I only dealt with Jim the once - enquired about the coloured clutch plate / spring towers / bolts etc and he sort of intimated that I would be at the back of the queue and unlikely to get any.
I took that as a "sex and travel" rebuff and haven't bothered since. Very Happy

I got the same response from Vandriver when I first enquired about the clutch plate & then the sprocket cover. He tends to make them in batches about twice per year when there's enough interest from the TL1000 forum members.

It's worth emailing him on the offchance that he may have some kicking about, as I get the impression there's quite a few timewasters on TLZONE who place an order but never pay, which frustrates the hell out of him Evil or Very Mad

I'm back!
defected to the Ducati forums for a while there to read-up on the motor that powers my latest Bimota acquisition. Very Happy
John - IF I can be arsed to strip the fairing off I will replace the cover and you can have first dibs on it. But only if you promise to fit it to a TLS, and let me have a go! Wink
