not a new bike but a new custodian that is keen to get it out on the road and the odd track

picked her up yesterday had a couple of runs and now intend to spend some time sorting her and learning about what does what

bike description is an Evo that has apparently had the latest engine upgrades back in Italy (we will see) - electronic dash, lovely carbon air scoops, std pipes

I have tried a couple of times to load pics so will have one last go!

wanted one for ages - know they can be a pain but am used to racing 2 strokes so accept that when they are not right they can be a nuisance but when running right - ooooh they are sweet.

Not a bad effort Jeff on the picture posting front, first and last were about right just a extra space between address and square bracket, but for a newbie a very good attempt.

Welcome to the best kept secret in the world, and one you are going to have to learn about because if you do get the vdue out on the road you are going to get alot of questions !!

Were abouts in the midlands are you as I am in Coventry/Warwick most weeks and am always happy to talk vdue.
JRH may be along soon and he lives just outside Telford, so maybe not far from you .

am based near Ashby De La Zouch on the M42

if anyone is passing then the A444 from Nuneaton is a good bike run and comes very close to us.

looking forward to meeting some others to compare what works and what does not

So is that your real number plate or just for pictures ?
Guess its a uk bike already , and full road worthy or has it been sat for a while ?
Usual stuff really, check everything , clean carbs etc, tighten bolts and then take it for a ride !! Very Happy

and then let us know what you have been missing by not buying one before !! Shocked

that is the real plate - it is a lucky bonus with the bike

has been in the UK since 03 but has been in a London flat for most of the time according to what I have been told

am trying to piece together the background and apparently it has been set up by Total Traction so I will call them to see if they have any records

will be out abusing the queens public highway before long

welcome Jeff. if it was at total traction it might be Mark's old bike.
Seem to remember he had a Due no. plate but I thought his was 90.
Think all the best one have gone. can't remember who picked up 500.
managed to bag 33 myself.
how many owners has it had and who was the last one. never know might know who it is/was.
