Well I finally bought a reasonable SB6R (Well that's what I thought)
Its been messed with by some monkey's during its life I think!!
It wouldn't run very well at all and would only really idle
It had been unloved for the best part of eight years so I was told.
Anyway new plugs and new fuel didn't help much but I could get the engine to rev a little but the misfires etc didn't sound to good
So..
Remove the carbs and take apart to ultrasonically clean them
Job done engine starting to sound like it should.
One problem I found was a broken throttle return cable so
Can someone tell me if they are from the donor bike or special Bimota parts please?

Has anyone put together a list of the parts on these lovely bikes and what the donor was?

I have a 98 SB6R in the US and I need an instrument cluster, my plexi and bezel are cracked and of course the digital display is knackered. Also would like a shop manual, parts manual and owners manual. I'm happy to buy any tech documentation available. Any suggestions? Love the bike, crisp like my V Due but monster torque.
