What do you think it'll reach? Closest guess wins a small prize. Unless you're the winning bidder of course, in which case the bike can be your prize. _________________ ZX-6R J2

lots of interest and bidding fast but I think lower then 10k, maybe 81/2 to 9 k is my guess... I know one person who will be watching with more then idle interest, mr KB? _________________ Pomps

Hi
I think it strange as to why it isnt for sale in Germany as they seem to pay more.
WHen i brought mine a non runner shagged engine with every other part of the bike very worn, that cost me £3500 5 years a go.
So around 5 - 6k seems fare but even then non standard seat, fairing plus what ever, it wont be cheap getting it pristine.
i wonder about the price of a SB2 now.

Hi,
I'm surprised that the KB1 in question isn't already tucked away in Carl's garage, such is his penchant for racing the things, and repairing them to an even higher standard than they were originally when they don't stay upright. BTW the guy who's selling it is a good friend of John Fallon (Made in Italy Motorcycles in Suffolk, who recently had a YB11 ES for sale).
FYI there's also a KB1 in a bike shop in Monastier (north of Venice), wearing a pair of slicks which doesn't seem to have moved off its paddock stand for years. Saw this last May when participating in the Motogiro d'Italia on my SB7.

I'm not sure what not too far off 10k means... Of course, the bike has to sell to qualify for the small prize _________________ ZX-6R J2

Can I detect a hint of panic
the goal posts seem to be moving.
I thought "what it will reach" and what it will "sell for" were not related
"not to far off 10k" means, my guess is winning
I think the reserve might be set at £10k and I also think that it might not sell.
As already mentioned, by KB, It's been vastly overvalued |

Gordon Bennet
Will grow up to the stars in value..........
That's more than I paid for my house only 12 years ago.
I think the price now, is above and beyond the stars.
I prefer your new toy Gaz, even tho it's short of a couple of cylinders |
