Wonder how much the fellow charges for one of these conversions........
http://www.analogmotorcycles.com/bikes/1996-bimota-db3-mantra-db3-5
And the words.......Nice Master cylinders, levers and calipers...and wheels
You do not often see special based on Bimota. A little 'because the bikes Rimini cost a fortune even on the used market, a little' because the typical clientele is very affectionate and would feel far worse than treason only the idea of creating a special from one of the jewels of Via Giaccaglia .
E 'was perhaps easier from a DB3 Mantra, one of the less popular models - and let's face it, perhaps the least successful aesthetically ever - ever produced by Bimota. Tony Prust, owner of Analog Motorcycles, made the DB3.5 completely stripping the Mantra (impossible choice not to be shared) and rinvigorendone engine derivation Monster 900.
The engine was then the subject of attention of Ducati Milwaukee, which has mounted two carburetors Keihin FCR and exhaust custom made with ceramic coating. An oil cooler taken from a newer model helps to keep temperatures low. The braking system consists of brake discs 320mm of Swedish ISR, which also provided the radial adjustable handlebar; all connections are provided by HEL. Alpina wheels are 17 "and fit tires Pirelli Diablo Rosso II. Friction is an EVR slipper, while the lids straps are made from Analog same.
Also interesting is the work on the superstructure, with particular emphasis on the aluminum tank and the rear seat handcrafted by Analog Motorcycles same; beautiful even finish the bridge and the headlight. |

The seat is a bit odd, if they made the tank you'd have thought they'd have taken some of the lines from it, it just looks like a catalogue unit.
It's not bad though, just a bit generic _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

The way they shaped the sides of the tank is just wrong. The whole point of the indents on the sides is to give your knees a place to help with cornering. That ridge on the bottom of the indent would be very uncomfortable and interfere with the use of the knee. _________________ Spike C.

Saw it on the Aprilia forum, Quite a tasteless lash up. I really didn't think you could make a Mantra that ugly |
