Hello folks,

for the second time now I've seen somebody claim on the internet that the early Tesis used a Metro kingpin and track rod ends. Can anybody confiirm this?

Cheers, MikeJ

By kingpin, I guess you mean for use as the steering stem?
If so, you probably already know this, but Loud Bike Steve has been trying to sell this one for years.........

track rod ends? - just easily obtainable spherical rod-end bearings / Rose joints on the steering and brake torque arms on my Tesi 1D.

Hello Geekay,

thanks for the reply, I was really just asking out of interest as it seemed an odd choice for an exotic Italian superbike!

Hi Mike

buy the item from Loud Bike Steve, then buy a Metro kingpin to compare and you can let us know if the internet information is correct or not !

Standard air filter for a YB8 was off an Austin Allegro. Clearly the whole bikes thing was just a cover for Bimota's true passion - Leyland's finest Laughing
