Hi there. MOT test time up again, will be sticking the black tape over the headlight lens to get the dip acceptable. I seem to remember either that the VDue uses an FZR yamaha headlight unit from one of the models or that you can get a bulb or suchlike to fix. Not an urgent problem but one that would be nice to sort properly. When I bought the bike Piero said he had no UK units left. Any help greatly appreciated !

Hi there again. Anybody out there got their VDue in bits sufficient to have a look at the headlamp unit to see if there are any part numbers visible anywhere ? Especially if its a UK spec headlight. It does look like the Yam FZR400RR 3TJ - also fits some 600's and 1000's apparently. Thanks.

The fitment is FZR 400 , but there are many variations of light configuration .
If you go for the twin red rimmed FZR400SP lights be aware that the bulds for these are about £20-25 each from memory , as not UK standard.
