Hopefully someone can help me out here. I've currently got my db4 harness out and am running all new wires for the ignition. I need to confirm something before I put it back together.

On the ignition modules, there's a 2 wire plug and a 3 wire plug. I need to knowthe order of the wires in the 3 wire plugs. The way I think they are is BLACK GREEN ORANGE and BLACK ORANGE YELLOW on the other one.

Logic tells me it should be BLACK GREEN ORANGE and BLACK YELLOW ORANGE. Also looking at the wiring diagram it looks like they should be BLACK YELLOW ORANGE.

Can anyone confirm this either way for me please?

Cheers
Brian

All good. I figured It out and then nervously started it Shocked

After checking the wiring diagram and thinking about it logically, I figured that the orange (negative) which is common to both coils, ignition modules etc, would have to be in the same spot... otherwise the ignition modules would have to be different, but they are identical.

Not sure how, but I must have had both wires out at some stage and mixed them up.

Bad news is... this little re-wire exercise hasn't fixed my problem Embarassed

I'll update my loong running thread on my issues. The saga continues
