HI - I've finally got my FI bike running - yet to test drive but fairly sure that fuelling won't be as good as I'll want, but also happy that the engine runs well and tickovers well.

I've hear the ECU's can't really be remapped and that others are going down other paths that include using MoTec and changes to the direct injection system etc. I was wondering if anyone has tried using a piggy-back ECU system such as megasquirt or ?? and if so what results they've had. Also keen to find out if any decent results can be got with current direct injection setup or is it a case of ditching it, or changing injectors or ?? I'd rather progress with fuel injection as too much to convert over to carbs - and the parts can't be got anyway.

In theory some form of piggy back ECU should work, just interested in some pointers, thoughts and experiences from other FI owners.
