looking for a source of fasteners for my Tesi race bodywork - anyone seen anything like this ?

all I need is the spring-loaded pin part - the panels already have the captive parts attached.

Ta

Garry.

from a guy in the States, who has a bag of 100 for sale (£69 + shipping).
I have asked for dimensions to ensure they fit the Tesi panels and also asked if he would be prepared to sell me 20 of them as opposed to all 100.. If the answer is positive on both counts, you can have some of the spares.

Yeh...cheers evil...those are defo the ones....the piccies from geekay are of one that are too longx2 at least...and the backing part is not the same....the ones from you show the camlock backing part that Bimota use on the DB2 and DB1...and the camlocks seem the correct size also

piccies to come of ones on Db1.........Have you got the camlock backing part bonded into the back of the bodywork Geekay???

Goddamn Darn and dash dem Bimota Boys........had a good look at both those links and although in the pictures they seem perfect...the diameters and sizes seem way too small compared to the actual as used by Bimota

The UK site seems not to have dias or lengths for some codes...and for others the dia of the head is 6.3mm and Bimotas are 9.67mm........diameter of pin on website is 3.2 and Bimotas are 4.25...>Grrhhh....think you may have to phone them Geekay and ask what they have...piccies below does not have the circular washer that fits the head...still on fairing

As follows

You know what they are now so have a scratch around on the Web or drop Camlock an email to see what they come up with.
Camlock also made the seat lock on the SB6

available here

http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/quick-release-fasteners/speciality-fasteners-camloc-quarter-turn-cross-head-fastener

in various "grip" lengths - mate of mine remembered them from his Formula Ford racing days.

I have various "grip lengths" on order, as not all the panels appear to be the same thickness. On a Bimota - surely not...........?
