Anybody have an idea what to use to pull the flywheel? Is there a non-Bimota alternative part? |

ive just stripped my engine using one of these for the flywheel , and both the gears on the cranks , it worked spot on
i had to use a couple of different bolts as they are smaller than comes in the kit ,tighten it up screw the middle bit until it was pulling and just give the think your pulling a tap with a hammer and they allpopped streight off ! if you get one pack p smaller bolts with thick washers make sure the bolt heads are on the flat side of the puller
only a tenner

Did Bimota make service manuals for their bikes? I'm a little bit shocked because I have never seen one before
I would love a V due. Pure 500 Gp porn... almost. Cheers. |

Hi Who....yup...Bimota did service manuals for pretty much all of their later bikes...I think they were intended for dealers more than owners...but seeing as dealers are rarer than than the bikes themselves....owners have now ended up with them.....BimotaClassicParts has workshop manuals for a lot of the bikes....the early manuals didnt really do very much...mostly telling you how to take bodywork and wheels off etc......later ones for 2000 onwards far more detailed with engine stripdowns etc......What bims have you got?
I've got electronic workshop manuals for Db1, DB2, DB4, DB5, DB6, Vdue (which are available to download free from Pieros Vdue.it websiite)...and YB11...others are available from elsewhere |
