Finally got the SB6 running again after several break downs and much scratching of ones grey haired head. It would cut out then refuse to start but then suddenly start, also would only start with the side stand up. If anyone else has this problem i discovered it to be the side stand diode connection playing up, in the end i bought an entire gsxr 750 ws loom and soldered the plug and diode off that in place of the stupid bimota idea. All good now. |

The diode can be found in the loom to the left of the carbs. Its a piss poor design, the diode barely contacts with the multiplug where as the connector forks on the diode on the suzuki loom pushes all the way home. |
