Ah!!!! Wrong again - story of my entire life.

However, with one last roll of the dice, I would suggest that €26 for one bulb delivered, is significantly more than the entire clock-set is worth Laughing

Pipe up Oily. I believe you have experience here.

As Brian says, some pictures can help. For me it is not clear which clock you mean.

I think there was one bulb that was really small, I found it in a car parts place.

When you pull the bulb out...does it look like these??
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2047675.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xcapless+bulb.TRS0&_nkw=capless+bulb&_sacat=0

Called capless bulbs.........go to your wiring diagram in Owners handbook/workshop manual if you have one and it will tell you the wattage of the bulb...I'm guessing 12v 3 watts

Should be easy enough to buy....car accessory shops/garages

Found the replacement for the bulb...see photo...found on a LED website...superbrightleds.com...bought the 4mm ones..just when you install don't twist all the way as they contact is just about 5 degrees further around then the standard ones...

this solves the problem..i can then reglue my clocks back together and never take apart again until they crap out..but at least i won't be changing any bulbs.

see ya
