Think they all are...seen a few...never touched the bent one...still shiney shiney...but the others like it was just pulled off the railing from the Titanic......it does clean up though.....wet and dry, enery cloth polishing wheels, buffing wheels etc...although next time I do it I WILL be lacquering it...and the rest of the pipes....just far too partial to corrossion...... |

Results......
Looks like best solution is scotchbrite pads (I used a machine) to clean up the pipes..... It takes a while!!!
Then I clear lacquered them with 500c paint. They come up with a more silver finish than original, but still retain the nice look of the joins and welding etc..... |

Cheers JRH....and Jeeso....you sure have been busy with the scothbrite.....could have put a warning on to "don" my sunglasses first.....didnt realise they had that nice stamped Jolly Moto logo on them...will have to rush and check mine now........Nice carbon gear rod by the way.......have one on mine....saved an almighty 6 grammes over the alloy one..
And nice to see we all have that pair of spare electrical connectors just hanging around at the swingarm linkage.
Weather all being well..should be out on mine this weekend.....
