I recently researched and purchased non OEM levers for both my Bimota and KTM which use Brembo and thought i'd share what I found out as there is lots of rubbish circulating on the internet by people who know little about aftermarket part purchasing.

The Chinese are making some really good alternative lever sets for unbelievably low prices, less than what it would cost for anodizing your old ones in fact.

After close inspection by a few bike club members we all agreed they are mint.
$35 NZD landed a pair all up.

Choice of colours, one for lever plus one for adjuster.
Lever Boss, the part that changes between master cylinders is usually black though.
I'm probably going to buy another set maybe silver with gold adjustors.
So cheap might as well go for gold!

Great customer service. they gave me one with 10mm pivot hole instead of 5mm and send me a new one no sweat!
Same level as customer service as local bike shops which was quite amusing.

Just need to pick based on:

Colours
Model of bike

The Furano uses (as of now) the common Brembo goldline masters off Ducati etc from 1990-2000 so easy for options.

Just beware that the lever to piston clearance is critical and the chinese levers have adjustable screws with spring lock but the inside is not recessed as much as the deep stock screws.

You will likely have a lack of clearance standard like aftermarket levers often have done so for decades (used to sell the cheap cast ones here in NZ that made a quite few delicate petals fall off)

Anyone fitting aftermarket levers that knows nothing about lever free play, (Brembo states 1-1.5mm off the top of my head) is asking for trouble and shouldn't be working on motorcycles.
Aftermarket stuff is often not quite the same or doesn't fit quite right and levers are no different.
I see people fitting incorrect tyre sizes to their bikes, buying cheap rotors etc etc.
Its all about research and understanding - or you might die Smile

I fitted an aftermarket clutch lever to my 1098 radial master cylinder on the SB6.
Shame I can't find a matching one for the brembo radial race master on the brakes.

thats strange as its late model componentry ay.
Is the brake and clutch radials a mirror odd each other like the older series i run?
Always makes things easy.
I hear the radial parts are quite dear from Brembo.

Another point of note is the 13mm clutch master rebuild kits are the same part number as the 13mm brembo brake master kits so my KTM and Bimota share the same repair kit (also Ducati)

Horrible to rebuild as you have to press the inside sleeve together and punch the piston out from the inside through the banjo bolt.

I upgraded from the goldline masters. The brake is a 19/20

The way the adjuster works makes it difficult to get an aftermarket lever, but I don't mind them being different

Every time I think about upgrading to the radial master I go out and stop my bike. I cannot conceive it working any better, it stops amazing now!
