so if i had slotted rods trev i would not need to run the pump at all and just have it on pre mix ?
what ratio do you run yours at ? 30-1 or 40-1
my mates v dues go through a liter very quickly
as it has feeds to cranks and some others on inlets or carbs
i dont know which ive not looked but i will do now .
but no smoke comes out of it as such that ive noticed

did you cut the slot yourself in your conrods ?

On two of the race bikes they are just oil in fuel 25 x 1
no oil pump or oil feed lines to crank etc

I have slotted the standed rods and put other con rods as well
Both will work

Guido has some rod kits three different types

Cheers Trev

I've always found Piero's prices pretty reasonable, that's if he has one of course

guido says 160 euros for a std rod kit
so im going to order one
save a bit and get some better slotted ones
and put them in when it breaks lol
i can put them in a box with the spare heads ,barrels, pistons ,crank seals,
ive bought to keep the bike running into the future
everyone thinks you can't get spares for these vdues !lol
how wrong they are ,
both piero and guido are fantastic i spent a lot with piero
but didnt find guido until i had full engine
piero has been great and given me a few items like reeds and crank seals , bolts and a few smalls etc
he didnt have to and i would have had to buy them off him .

Whilst youre checking and keeping spares...I presume you have a clutch pack? Check how many plates with the friction material you have...if you've bought a new one from Piero you may find theres only 5 plates with friction material and not 6 which is what is needed....a couple of packs that came from Pieros supplier recently both had insufficient number in them......... Sad
