Until you get the manual with nice pictures etc etc....you remove the seat by undoing the front and back securing bolts under the seat...ignoring the middle one that may also clip a cable to it........Then pull the seat off backwards and the rear tank restraining bolt is exposed...remove this....then remove the 2 bolts slightly forward of the ignition barrel.....then simply lift off...there will be 2 quick release fuel connectors....make sure you recall which goes to which...overflow pipe and the fuel sender cable also.......If just for draining tanks...I routinely use a hand operated syphon pump...can be bought mostplaces....flexible plastic hose that reaches the deepest parts of any bike tank....as if you "tip" up a bike tank theres always a lip on the fuel cap stopping some fuel coming out...and also the drain hoses protrude into the tank also retaining some fuel.......

Plenty of choice here...also the rubber bulb type you can get from Boat chandlers....steer clear of the clear plastic with red plastic bulb...they are around 1GBP each to buy but only last for one or two tank empties and something falls apart.......
