I cant figure out how to get the battery out of the battery box.
Of course the fairings/tank removed but there is a frame rail over the battery box. Yes back panel of box removed.
The battery is too tall to just slide backwards as it hits the frame rail.
It wont tip forward or back enough to slide out.
I've loosened the two top bolts on the back of the box but it wont move much
What am I missing ??

Did Bimota build the motorcycle around the battery ? Evil or Very Mad

I'm not familiar with the YB and presume its not stated in the manual...I know on the Db1 its all bodywork off, unbolt the oil rad and let that hang down...and disconnect the battery and unbolt the entire battery box and remove battery with battery box as one unit....

Hey thanks 2bims.

I freakin got the b**** out.
It does slide out backwards but I had to bend/flex the plastic battery case to do it.
Its what we call in the Aviation industry; an "interference fit".
I hope to find a slightly less tall battery to replace it.
Even a 1/4" will do.

Currently its a Yuasa YB 14L A2
