Yup...very slow traffic on the Bimote Forum as of late...must be all on Facebook or such...

Anyhow...if you like Bimotas, in particular the Bimota Tesi 1D classic...and if you havent seen already...then check out this animated cinematography from Japan from a fair few years ago...combination of lovely lady and a lovely bike...25mins long......check out from 14mins in.....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zs8X3zvIMmo

anyhow....reason for the above is that Ive just bought some of the Original acrylic painted stills from the Cartoon, complete with backdrops and pencil drgs...as cartoon was "old Skool"...paint on acrylic, page by page, motion by motion on backdrops....Should make an interesting 3/4 stage picture wall hanging

SNAP..........just over a year ago I bought a set of similar stills from a arty guy in the US. I have a different Golden Boy episode...she is fully dressed in leathers....but the drift is there.

Anyway I got them framed and ready to hang in a 4 frame segmant before the daughter labelled them Japanese Anime porn!!

They hang in the garage behind the DB9 bike.

Hhhmmm.........
The images have left Canvey Island and are enroute to Australia, where they will uploaded into cyberspace and beamed back to Bimota Forum Central (thankyou Brian)
Expect 3 images of Japanese tightly clad female form, in form, on a Bimota.

Got my tickets for EIMCA ..'hello' new 1198 tesi? 'hello' new naked VLX??

Nah.......the 1198 Tesi and VLX are merely wishful thinking of an engineer, although a logical step IMO.

I tried to buy the DB11VLX last year only for it to be sold to a Bimota fan who buys ALL the prototypes!! He is in Italy and very secretive.

There was still the 'engineers mule' VLX a test bike with 12000kms on the clock and dyno runs in the very high double digits.....which again I tried to buy but was rebuffed.

I prepped a artist impression of the VLX muscle bike I had in mind and I wanted to build, but it is probably in a bin or in the gutter in Rimini.

I have been told that there are new models to be launched and the rest is just my mind working overtime.

But I will send all images of the new bikes and maybe a photo of a bin to Brian....great chap...in Oz.

regards

Gavin

Yep know exactly were that bike is, saw it in May this year. Sounds amazing !! Shocked if not a little loud, and a lovely whine from the superchugger.
Idea when it was developed was for a ' bolt on ' kit for owners to improve performance. Shame it never saw the light of day. Have some pictures somewhere I think.
