My front brake light isnt working so i'm going through all the likely causes and first off is the switch.

Has anyone got the part number or technical details for the front brake micro switch?
I know its a DC1 but there about 30 or so different options.

Does it have a number on the back of it ?
It's a goldline master, they used them on Ducati 916 etc but you can try Mode Performance, they're a Brembo official importer.

I assume you've shorted out the switch and the brake light comes on ?

Figured it out, works on the short.
The switch is at fault.

That's made me happy as I was dreading pulling the loam apart.

It's just a bike Smile
There should be two small screws holding the switch to the master unscrew them and look for a code on it.

Mine was playing up when I first got my sb6 too. I pulled the switch apart and cleaned the contacts and applied some dielectric grease. Good as new.

Warning... There are tiny parts inside the switch, spring and contacts etc. be careful when you pull it apart that bits don't fly out.

The other possibility is the adjustment of the switch. It was difficult to get the switch in exactly the right position for it to work. Very fiddly job

Thanks all.
New switch ordered for £5, thats a lot better than the £30 Ducati wanted.
