Hello nube.
They come up on ebay or you can contact Bimota Spares through this site or facebook, they're based in Italy so I'm not sure what the postage would be.
One thing you need to know before start this is which SB6 you have, Mk1 has smaller headlights, they used the Suzuki clocks and clutch / brake master cylinders so fairly easy to spot. _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

I think it's a mark 2 as it is grey and red and has bimota clocks not the early gixer clocks _________________ Z9 B1, Z9 modified, RD 500, ZXR750RR K1, GSXR1100WP, ZX9R, ZRX1200, SB6 |

Just bear in mind postage is dear from the states nowadays...not helped by the one piece size of the SB6 fairings...and then there'd be VAT, Import Duty tax and Post office charge on top also (The PO pay the duty declared by HMRC...then charge it back t you and their charge before releasing..) |

Had a look on there site, they have tank/seat units but I didn't see any fairings. I've dropped them an email to see if they can help.

"Bony feel"?......all I can add furhter is "welcome to the world of Bimota Ownership"....spares availability and price...and scouring the world.......Whats up with the existing fairing? With them being carbon it makes repairs easier....Try sticking a post in the "wanted" section at the bottom...a lot of Bimota spares reside in the lofts and garages of people who have the bikes and "one day" think they made the spares they have accumulated....and as others have said..try Paolo of BimotaClassicParts...just email his website...he speaks reads and writes english.... |

They're not carbon .... they have a weave in them but it's clear not black.
Pohlen .... we need some pics but tell what the damage is _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

I live and learn....new one to me...what about the tank/seat unit? I know folk get confused with DB2 sometimes with the "weave" on the back face...thinking its carbon....but nah...just fibreglass with a matting on the underside |

Fibre glass with carbon inserts where they show through.
But then carbon generally only for show, in majority of cases for bikes anyway , kevlar probably a better material as better crash/abrasion properties . |

Inside the fairing without paint
and with heat resisting paint
The usual place where they need some repair - I used Plastex you need to expose the weave so it can bond onto the fairing

Yes it was the one from Durham, its No 01228, it was stolen by some locals and they found out who had it and £500 got it back, some light scratches to the fairing so it was removed for painting at a local paint shop which was then broken into and a pile of stuff nicked including the fairing.
there is a few marks on it but no crash damage, he had the mirrors, windshield etc and has had the bike since 02 and its a 98 and not been on the road since 04 the owner was in his late 60's now with a doggy knee.
almost bought one a year or 2 ago from a lad who had 2 one for him and her one with a big bore kit and the other with light wheels.
if work hadn't had a hiccup at the time I would have bought the red and white one for the £6k he wanted as it had dymags etc and was mint.[img] _________________ Z9 B1, Z9 modified, RD 500, ZXR750RR K1, GSXR1100WP, ZX9R, ZRX1200, SB6 |
