Blimey, a 6r that actually looks OK? That under seat can makes all the difference in the looks stakes and if the engine is fully sorted then 5 k sounds about right? Laughing

Hi

Not a clue if it is that one, but there was an SB6R being sorted by Big CC when they did my Bandit engine. From memory it had been run low on oil hence needed a rebuild, but the engine was quite a long way from being a stock Suzuki GSXR engine (rods and crank weren't standard for example). Apparently the owner knew nothing about the engine being not a stock Suzuki lump, and not sure if it came from the factory like that.

All the best

Keith

Any Aussie's on here living in the UK? About the only way I could do it, is to register it in their name for a year and get it imported as their vehicle, just spoke to guys who import bikes from around the world over to here and there saying not an easy job, Doh

Is this because of the import duty?
My nephew emigrated to Oz last year and he took his mint, Dukuti 916 with him.
He never mentioned any problems.
You could always register in my name and I'll look after it till Oz changes the import laws Laughing

Hi

Suspect as an import from outside Aus it would need to comply with all the various Australian Design Rules. Quite possibly including emissions rules.

All the best

I suspect that side of things wouldent be too difficult as there are already a few SB6R's over there. I'm thinking more financial like import duty as well as having to comply, which we already know, they do Wink

this cropped up on another bike forum - apparantly, Australian import laws state that the bike / vehicle to be imported must be registered to the owner and prospective importer for a period of 12 months or more in it's country of registration.
I think..........
