Finally just getting too old to enjoyably ride my KB3 for any length of time. Even with high bars on it, my body just doesn't work well on it any more. So it's back wearing its clip-ons and fairing. The DB2 is a better fit for an older Gentleman - and I use the term loosely
So, the KB3 is for sale. Maybe one of you younger Gents have an interest? Feel free to give me a shout with any questions.

Chuck, that is one beautiful motorycle! Love the paint scheme. really looks 'factory'
A fantastic spec as well, with lots of 'in period' upgrades that really do make it just SOOOOO desirable.
Great photo set as well in the Ebay listing so just spent time I shouldn't poring over them all.
Pity its not this side of the Pond.

welshlamb,
I lusted over this one when I first saw it, and knew I had to have it. As happens to all of us (with any luck), we reach a point that we have to say "time to move on". I have quite few bikes from Pre-teen antiques to late model nakeds, but I won't forget this one! It is a brute and demands to be ridden as such. After my last ride on it a week or two ago, I came back with a huge grin on my face (the usual outcome on this one), and pain in my back that said its time (two lower vertaba disks that required a knife some years back speaking loudly and clearly!). I'm not giving up, just moving on to a little less brutishness
Thanks for the note.

He did indeed find a new owner for the bike and I have it on good authority, that the new owner is very pleased with it. |
