I was recently fortunate enough to pick up a '98 SB6R in a trade deal. Low mileage bike, 3k miles, but it has been sitting for at least seven years. It had begun to run poorly and the previous owner started to take the bike apart to access the carbs so they could be serviced/cleaned.
Over the last seven years he has lost the assorted hardware (nuts, bolts) that were removed. Is my best option to pour over Bimota parts diagrams and make a list of the size and style of each nut and bolt needed? I'd prefer for the bike to be put back together as correctly as possible using the correct type and style of hardware.
Parts removed: exhaust, air box, petrol tank, seat unit, taillight, battery box... |

Wish I could give you and answer to that, although I should have clarified just the mufflers (titanium Corse units) have been pulled, the head pipes are still attached. Swingarm and wheel, etc are still there.
Many thanks for the help 2bims, it's appreciated! Looks like I have some 'research' to do! |
