Recently I bought some lighter wheels for my SB6 - which is nice Smile

This throws up a problem with the speedo drive not being machined into the wheel. Of course you can simply put in a spacer and use some aftermarket clocks. SB6R clocks, for example, break and don't seem to be repairable, the answer is simply to fit a new dash - Koso being an alternative.
I like the SB6 clocks though, so I had a look about to see if I could get the speedo refurbished as an electronic dial. Eventually I contacted Smiths and they replied with this

Hi, we will be offering a similar service to the one you have outlined next year, in all cases we will have to make new faces for the speedos to align to the lcd/oled window for the digital speedo readout.

The service will use the original casings, glass etc and will be dependent on the depth of the original gauges (to house the new internal) and availability of replacement bezels if required.

We will post news of this service on the website

So maybe there will be some alternative in the future for upgrading

Another option could be a GPS speedo. I've seen a few different mobs that make custom speedo's in different sizes which you can customize to match what ever speedo you want to replace.
