Does anyone know how to get this apart. Can I just use the obligatory block of wood and Hammer??
Is there another trick?

Cheers

Les

Presumably the top yoke is off....and you have unwound the top cover/clamp so that all you have left is the lower yoke, lower bearing, steering head stem poking through and top bearing visible tight around the steering stem?

In which case yes......block of wood and hammer on the top steering tube.....with the frame suitably supported...you only have to get it up to the threaded part on the steering stem and then the top ball race unit should become loose....
