Could you give me a hint what brembo brake pads the Bimota db5 needs ? Thx and Cheers ,

It is The brembo caliper that needs 8 small pads in total

You'd be best off "pulling" one of the brake pads out and reading the code part on the back of the plate....Many Ducatis use the same monoblocs on the front.....most folk find its best to refit with brembo pads rather than other aftermarket brands.....they may be dearer but if you were happy with the performance previously then I suggest not to change brands....others may be cheaper but they may not work as well...or they could also eat your discs....
