Hi guys, I have frame # 395 series 2 that we restored a few years back. The owner has decided to install the rear shock that came with the bike when he bought it from the UK in 2007. The shock has a cable drive remote adjuster but the end of the cable is missing. I'm hoping someone may be able to confirm if this is the correct shock, and also have a pic of what the hand-adjuster should look like.

Kind regards,
Maurice

Hi Maurice
My KB1 has what I believe is the original DeCarbon unit which is numbered the same as the frame. It has spring compression adjustment but that is all. Sorry not really much help but for info

Hi

Indeed the original is a De carbon unit mine had the same as did my SB4

Just to note my bike is frame number 400 so were likely part of the same batch made at the time.

Mine was purchased early 1980 but obviously made in 79.
Sold at Mochech in Clapham

Cheers

Carl

Yes the original de carbon shock had no remote adjustment.

I have managed to spec up a k-tech unit which works well, with remote resevoir, a much better unit.
