There is a good article in the MSL covering Bimota from the Milan show 2015
It looks at the core new models...the expansion of the Tesi into a 4 valver
...the kit of parts for the BB3 and the proposed factory move from the current location to a smaller factory in Rimini
more suitable for a 13 person strong workforce making up to 250 bikes per annum

Also reading between the lines it shows a strong (working) relationship with Ducati and in turn their owners....Audi...with no real conflict of interest in market share and their respective positioning.

Issue 673....October 16...Motorcycle Sport and Leisure

The writer is Alan Cathcart and the interviewee is Pierluigi Marconi

Regards
Gavin

The article was made / written after EICMA show in Milano... I think today the situation is a little different.

Why is it that this new news is old news!

Happy with the article and feeling the future has a bit of shine in it, I locate another Bimota article written in Cylce Worls dated June 29th.

It seems that Pierluigi Marconi and BIMOTA have parted ways.

Words like 'frustration of lack of capital' and 'indecision on future direction" pours cold water on any warm feelings felt by the Cathcart article

Once again it seems Bimota are steering their way through choppy waters

Let's hope that the future is brighter than the light given off by burning the Cathcart article from last year but only published this month!
