Finally started on refettling my DB1. (It's OK 2bims, paramedics on their way to you with resuscitation gear Wink )
Wondering if anyone out there has replaced the mounting clamp on the steering damper body. Mine is damaged (see photo) and I thought it would be a simple case of sliding it off the damper body. However there is a swaged bead in the damper body either side of the mounting clamp and I am pretty sure spreading the clamp to clear it would result in fracture. Anybody got any ideas how it comes apart before I start getting brutal ?
