Yep, save me a spot Lech... I'm as keen as mustard. It will be a descent drive for me but well worth the effort as Bimotas are very few and far between around these parts.
Sounds like an awesome way to spend a few days. Would be nice to see a few other Bimotas for a change. Also a great way Aussie Bimota owners to make contact with each other.
Who knows, it might lead to an annual (or bi-annual) Bimota owners meet?
I for one appreciate the effort that you are going to, to organise this Lech _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

yes, I'll be in that, hopefully mine will be a little more "presentable" by that time, and it's only an 80 mile round trip for me (or about 130 km) |

Cool. I'll add you to the list Shay. It'll be a nice trip up from the Gong. Send me your email address and I'll keep you updated.
Yep, top effort from Brian. He travelled 7000km to pick up his Kwaka so he's a man of conviction.
I imagine we'll be allocated an area in the main area of interest where the Internationals will be so we'll be in the thick of it. This event attracts a lot of interest from the magazines so I reckon there'll be some Bimota photos in the mags after the event. |

Good on ya Shay, the more the merrier.
Yeah I quite like driving and have been known to do some lonnng trips to pick up motorcycles that I desire.
More than happy to do the long trip to Sydney for the Barry Sheene Festival of Speed. I've been trying to do s bike trip to the event for the last few years but not been able to swing it. So carting 2 Bims down in a trailer will have to do... hopefully will be taking my son who turns 21 the weekend before. Also hoping that we both might be able to do the parade lap on my Bimotas, that would be a real thrill for me (and him hopefully). _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

Hi Lech,
Sent you a PM with my email address. I doubt my Morini project would be ready in time, but then again you can only ride one bike at a time. |

Hey Mr Moderator... just wondering if we should move Lech's thread to the 'Members Bimota Events' section, provided Lech is ok with that? _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

I will give this some serious thought. Melbourne based SB4 owner, it is not concourse but reasonably tidy. Not anywhere near as far as Brian but far enough.
Cheers

Thanks Steve.
Can you PM your email address Les and I'll keep you updated with the event.
Don't worry if your bike is not the biggest glamourpuss, or if it even goes, it would still be great to see a big number of Bimotas on display. You won't regret being a part of one of the biggest historic events in the country. |

I've sent an email update to all the Bimota owners on my mailing list. If I've missed you, or you would like to be added to the list, send me an email lbud@spin.net.au
The list of bikes coming is growing. DBs, SBs, YBs, VDs (?). This should be the biggest display of Bimotas ever in Australia. |
