On his Facebook Page he shows roughly 100 of the books turning up at his place...so he defo has them......bit of a shame, but it is his business...that he charges 50% more than you can buy direct from the publisher....it was Giuseppi Morri's Facebook page (the MO in BIMOTA) that alerted me to the published price and discount of price to that of 80% of the published price.....I spoke via messenger quite a bit to Morri re the book before it was published...trying to get an English version done over here in Blighty...But...he had sold the rights to his story and the book to the publisher....he gave me quite detailed description of the contents and he missed a few tricks...theres no Historic register of current owners and Frame numbers taken from the Swiss Bimota Register....which is what they did with the 25 years book, courtesy of Manuel Nunez....theres no archive of sales brochures...and its 2/3rds to 3/4's a story compared to pictures....Not that much use if No speaki Italiano...........

Yeah, sort of a bummer about the book. The way it was heralded, I thought this would be a nice addition to the "bible". Oh well, win some...loose some... FWIW, my motorcycle side of a library is weak so this will at least give it some visual volume Very Happy

Paolo did respond very quickly to my inquiry. Should start shipping next week.

I ordered my copy from Amazon.IT (used Google translate!)... they've been good to keep me informed...been emailed to tell me it's on its way, due 4 June...fingers x'd....will report back. I have the Sarti bible, so interested to see how this compares in content (and the bible is a keeper!).

Mine should ship Monday. Received an update from Paolo with a DHL tracking number. So much drama around this book, I hope that it will be at least half worth it... And yes, I would buy the english version if it ever becomes available.

It seems that Bimota popularity is just as strong outside of Italy, if not stronger. So its strange why not publish this book in English....

I would definitely be interested in English version. It would be an awesome addition to my Bimota Bible that I have

Received my copy from Amazon.IT. Whilst not in any way as comprehensive as the Sarti bible it is the next best thing for us Bimota fans, as it has quite a lot of interesting archival photos. OK it's written in Italian (should have paid attention in those Latin classes, tee hee), but I'd still say it's worth the money for a specialist book.

Just ordered mine today. Should get it before the end of the month. A question for those of you that have already received your copy. Are there many photos from the 70's and 80's? Any information on the SB2's or KB2's? Looking forward to getting my copy!
Cheers!

HEres a few extracts from the book....is supposed to list and have pictures of every model ever made...including the very rare one-off early race models....Patten Bimotas...Harley D Bimotas...etc etc...click on one of the small pictures of the book and it expands into a short few sections extracted from the book....
