Notice that MCN have done a write up on the DB8 with some positive comments, they mention there testing a pre production model, Was just wondering how long you have had yours for?

Do you not sleep ? Smile

Yes I also read the piece from Michael Neeves on the MCN newsletter, the full report comes out next week (14th July) I understand? That will make interesting reading. Did you also notice the subtle differences on the bike MCN were riding?

No sleep for the wicked I'm afraid, (I'm in Aus so makes bit of a difference when I'm online)

I didn't notice any of the differences, any ideas on what they are/were? Looking forward to the full write up next week.

You just want to confuse us poor pomms that the problem! Maybe you are a pomm yourself and just living in Australia!

Anyway good to hear from you. What do you ride down there?

DB8, discs for a start, then a few bits an bobs, i'll show you the production version when I get it, the one shown in the photo is also pre production and the bike they used for the pictures, shows etc. I wanted to see what it was like.

Regards from the other side of the world where in Rimini its over 30ºc bit warmer then Sydney if thats where you are possibly?

RR Cool

LOL, I am actually a Pommy, over in Perth.

Only ride an R1 over here, the DB7 was over $52k just over a year ago when I got the R1, they can be had for $36k now. Almost wished I'd waited a year!

Did get to sit on the DB7 at the excel show just before I came out though. [/img]

Nice bike. Do you bring it over to the Uk at any time?

We are trying to get a large gathering, it will happen one day I am sure.

When it happens it will be a classy event, they are Bimotas after all! Very Happy

The SB6 went in Uk last year 2009 to the Kawasaki triple club UK Southern rally Exclamation
As I know the norwegian triples guys as I did the Norwegian rally 2007 on H2 by the road of course and with the fact the ferry Norway to North of England were stopped I offered them to come in Paris by plane and then went to the Southern rally from Paris by the roads on Kawasaki triples of course.
But at the end, there were 4 norwegian and I could have only 3 kawasaki triples for them unless I came with the SB6 so it would be 4 triples. As host I said I took the SB6 but one norwegian prefered taken the SB6 and so we did: 8 guys, four french on kawasaki triples, 3 norwegian on K triple and one on the SB6. Cool
