I'm not sure whether it was the weather.....or it was because it was the Classic TT...or the Company that I kept....or that Driving Miss Daisy wasnt with us....or purely because we were both there on Vdue500 2-strokes....but I rated it as my best trip to the TT yet.........certainly was fun blatting around on a noisey smelly thirsty 2-stroke, without fear of license swallowing conviction.....suppose at the end of the day you just cant beat a drop of nostalgia.......

Anyhow....Sunday brought a clear dry warmish day for the time of the year.......so it was off up to Rivington Barn again

A few folk up there admiring Mr DB5R....and 2 separate folk that said.." Yeh....theres another Bimota that comes up here....Bloke rides a Vdue500....".....its always nice to listen to them to see what they think of the Vdue...and then I have to stop them and let them know that was me also on the Vdue......

Well after 34 years of desire, I have finally acquired one. I still remember the day I was reading that September 1982 issue of Cycle magazine as a teenager and thinking.... I have to have one of those....

Not far from you, relatively speaking. I'm in Woodland Hills, right off Mulholland. I'm up in the canyons practically every weekend and quite often stop for coffee at the Rockstore...

I used to ride Mulholland to the Rockstore back in the 80s. Been riding Angeles Crest Hwy for decades now since its closer. When I get her titled and registered we should meet up.

Congratulations...and welcome to the Forum.....and congrats on being able to post pictures on your first post....getting the Bimota of your dreams and putting pictures up on here are the 2 largest stumbling blocks and you've overcome both.......Now we just need some pictures of its italian stablemate....the 250GT Lusso???/....

Congrats on a great bike! I had been lusting of a Bimota ever since when I had my CB750 back in '73! When I saw the DB5R Ina dealers consignment lot I had to have it!
